In this course, students learn how to organize, format, and deliver different types of speeches in order to improve their ability to communicate effectively.  Students will also explore how to combat stage fright symptoms and debate logically.

Students will take this course if they are interested in becoming better actors and performers through competition. They will learn how to create individualized and group performance showcases using acting and stage movement for competition purposes.

Students should take this course if they are interested in learning of the history and background of the theater arts and getting various types of acting experience.

Students should take this course if they are interested in learning how theatre continues today. They will analyze a theatrical script to get hands on experience with what goes on behind the scenes with direction, production, and crew.
