Students will need to\u00a0attend all rehearsals, before and after school as well as Thursday\u00a0evenings and additional rehearsals set by the band staff. Students\u00a0will also be responsible to attend all marching performances both home\u00a0and away from school. The symphonic band will provide\u00a0students with the opportunity to perform medium to advanced concert band literature. The symphonic band provides opportunities for\u00a0all-district and all-state exposure as well as solo and small ensemble\u00a0performances at district contest. Students are required to attend all performances as part of their overall grade in band.
