Mrs. Dickinson is the gifted education teacher for grades 5-12. She has taught for 20 years and this is her 14th year working in gifted education. Mrs. Dickinson has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Central Methodist University and has earned her Master of Arts Degree in classroom Teaching from Missouri Baptist University. Her gifted education Certification was earned from the University of Missouri Columbia. On a personal note she has been married to her husband Lloyd for 25 years and they have 4 beautiful children; Nathan, Dane, Lynae, and Marla. She enjoys being active in her church and church organizations as well as spending time with her family.

REACH- Realizing Education As Challenging Happenings (Gifted Education Program):

Students at the high school level will be provided with counseling to ensure course content, career guidance, identification of areas of strength , encouragement for social interest group and interaction and services to enhance quality of production. Students will  be provided scholarship information as well as development of a resume to use college preparation. Awareness of extra-curricular activities will be a part of the high school program and encouragement of community service involvement. The students will meet with the gifted teacher on an individual or small group basis.
